ECU Annual Training Program

After successfully completing the first part of ECU Annual Program where over 150 participants from over 40 countries joined the classes, we are glad to be partners again with European Chess Academy Maribor in the second ECU Annual Training Program that will be held from 6th of November 2021 to 30th of April 2022.

WHO CAN REGISTER?

Open for all ages and levels:
LEVEL 1 – for players below 1600 ELO
LEVEL 2 – for players between 1600 and 1900 ELO
LEVEL 3 – for players between 1900 and 2200 ELO
LEVEL 4 – for players above 2200 ELO

  • 4 years educational program
  • 2 school hours weekly per group (total 48 hours)

 Level 2 – for players between 1600 and 1900 ELO:

  2. Theoretical and practical endgames
  3. Advanced strategical elements
  4. Advanced tactical elements and attacks
  5. Technique of calculation

Level 3 – for players between 1900 and 2200 ELO:

  1. Typical opening ideas
  2. Practical endgames
  3. Advanced strategical elements
  4. Advanced tactical elements and attacks
  5. Technique of calculation

Level 4 – for players above 2200 ELO:

  1. Newest opening and middlegame trends
  2. Play with unbalanced material
  3. Advanced strategical ideas
  4. Studying complicated endgames
  5. Technique of calculation
